Mission Statement

To educate and train a volunteer workforce of health professionals and community health volunteers to serve the citizens of Burlington County in the event of a public health emergency.

Description

The Burlington County Medical Reserve Corps is a volunteer workforce of health professionals and community volunteers serving the citizens of Burlington County in the event of a public health emergency. Volunteers must reside or work in Burlington County, New Jersey. Volunteers with skills in healthcare, interpretation, social work and religious counseling are especially needed. Training is provided. Volunteers and their families are part of the First Responder Medication Distribution Plan and will receive prophylactic medications first during a public health emergency.
