I helped deliver fresh vegetables to low income seniors, they appreciated receiving help and showed such love to each volunteer. What a blessing to help those in need. Mending the gap is really making a difference. Jesus said when you have done it to the least of these you have done it to me. Senior's need to fellowship with the youth and the youth need to fellowship with seniors, Mending-the-gap makes that happen. The seniors tell their stories and share history, and the youth bring new life back to the seniors. We enrich each other’s lives by continuing to live life to the fullest. I took part in a social event and training; it was so rewarding to give back to those who have helped build this great country of ours. We need to continue to care for and support our seniors and realize we will be seniors one day. Thank you Mending-the-gap for opening my eyes to a rewarding opportunity to love.
