Mission Statement

The goal of Florida Elks Lodge 286:

*provide Children"s Physical Therapy Services in the home

*support the Florida Elks Youth Camp

*help local disabled and shut-in Veterans

*support a Scholarship Fund for college bound youth of our community

*recognize outstanding Boy Scounts who attain Eagle Scount

*support Inter-Faith Emergency Services

*partner with other organizations to help charities like Boys and Girls Club

A nationwide organization whose memberships over 13 decades has consisted of tens of millions of America's finest citizens. We are looking for those who delight in wholesome assocciation with congenial companions, who love their country, respect fair play and dedication to noble causes.

The Ocala Lodge 286 and it's projects have a long history in Marion County. I have been a member for 5 years. In those couple of years I have witnessed many long term community events, fund raisers, emergency relief projects and lodge friendships come to the rescue of our Marion County residents young and old. In order to continue this vital source of community sharing, we need more creative and energetic members willing to participate in our historical mission.
