MatchingDonors.com is a proud, award winning, 501(c)(3) volunteer run nonprofit organization based in Canton, Massachusetts. We need your help by assisting our legal teams and corporate officers with legal issues. Everyone at MatchingDonors works tirelessly to help their patients, and donors solve some of the toughest challenges facing people needing organ transplants. MatchingDonors.com welcomes all volunteers for its opportunities, including individuals with F-1 status through Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT). Your Role: The Volunteer will be working directly with and assisting our legal teams. The Volunteer will research health care legal issues and summarize conclusions; assist attorneys on a variety of matters including legal issues related to tax-exempt organizations, patient care, academic medical research, and other general corporate matters; review general contracts; and assist with various adversarial matters, including contract disputes, employment litigation and patient and medical staff appeals. What You Will Be Doing: · The Volunteer will research health care legal issues and summarize conclusions; assist attorneys on a variety of matters including legal issues related to tax-exempt organizations, patient care, academic medical research, and other general corporate matters · The Volunteer will be reviewing general contracts; and assisting with various adversarial matters, including contract disputes, employment litigation and patient and medical staff appeals. · Besides the Volunteer working closely with our legal teams, they will also be working with the CEO and Founder of MatchingDonors.com and our team of volunteers to obtain any information required by our legal teams. Qualifications: · Law School or undergraduate or graduate Legal class work are mandatory. · Strong academic credentials, writing, and interpersonal skills. · Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail · Flexible, creative, solution oriented · A champion for our cause, enthusiastic and positive. · A great communicator, being both articulate and empathetic. · Organized and attentive to detail.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Volunteer ColdFusion Programmer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing web-based applications using Adobe ColdFusion. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with a strong understanding of web development best practices and experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Adobe ColdFusion (CFML). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and database administrators. Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance, reliability, and scalability. Integrate ColdFusion applications with databases (primarily MS SQL Server or MySQL). Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and ensure data integrity. Implement security best practices in web applications (e.g., input validation, authentication, session management). Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs in a timely manner. Document code, processes, and changes according to company standards. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to ColdFusion and web development. Required Qualifications: Experience in ColdFusion (CFML) development. Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX. Experience with SQL-based databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.). Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). Solid problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ColdFusion frameworks such as FW/1, ColdBox, or Fusebox. Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., PHP, .NET, Python) is a plus. Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD practices.
