To use the game of hockey to break down barriers and use it as a springboard to share the Good News of Jesus.

Description

SOS Canada is a non-profit organization focused on ministry in the Czech Republic through the game of hockey. We have been sending teams on 10-day mission trips to Hlinsko, CZ since 2006. It is our prayer that God will be glorified in the Czech Republic. We use hockey to break down barriers and use it as a springboard for sharing the Good News of Jesus. During games, we share a testimony through a translator and build relationships with the other players. We not only minister on the ice, but also in public schools, in orphan and disadvantaged children's homes, in ESL classes and in and alongside the local church.
