The mission of the Commission on Affairs of the Elderly is enhancing the quality of life for Boston's senior citizens. Through planning, coordinating and monitoring the delivery of services to seniors efficiently and effectively, the staff at the Elderly Commission has enabled Boston's seniors to access variable services, as well as health and recreational programs, which help improve the quality of life of all senior citizens living in the City of Boston.
We value our seniors living within our communities, our neighborhoods, and our city. We want you, your senior friends and/or family members to enjoy life to the fullest. Through the Area Agency on Aging and Council on Aging, we promote and encourage the active involvement of seniors in the life and health of their neighborhoods.
This website was created for you as a tool to help find essential benefits, such as health care, advocacy, housing, and transportation. Its aim is to ensure that all Boston senior residents, their families and caregivers, are aware of these critical and pertinent services.
