The Big Buddy Program's

WordPlay Teen Writing Project

engages teens from diverse communities in spoken word poetry and self-expression as a way to celebrate the power of young people's voices and stories. WordPlay builds literary community for Baton Rouge teens through writing workshops, open-mics, poetry slams, publications and educator resources .
