Volunteer Starkville is a one-stop resource for all things volunteering.We serve local nonprofits and volunteers to connect and find purpose in building a strong community.
We encourage everyone to serve - children, young adults, seniors, families, students, and professionals. There is a place for service for everyone to stay engaged and help our community improve and thrive.
With volunteers, volunteer management training, nonprofit workshops, and other services, we help our local nonprofits become as effective and efficient as they are passionate about their missions.
Our services are fully integrated, and strengthened through partnership with other local civic clubs and organizations and local businesses. Together, we work to accelerate the success of Starkville’s nonprofits, enabling them to reach their full potential.
Description
We provide many services to volunteers, nonprofits and businesses.
Volunteers: If you are looking for a one time or an ongoing volunteer opportunity, we have something for you! Come in and talk with one of our staff members or search for a volunteer opportunity online. You can also volunteer with one of Volunteer Starkville’s programs or events.
Nonprofits: If you are looking for volunteers, have a big event you need help with, or need to improve your organization, we can be of service to you. Volunteer Starkville provides help with recruiting volunteers, training opportunities, workshops and many other resources for non-profits.
Businesses: See how your business can help the community by becoming a corporate partner, being a sponsor, or joining a volunteer opportunity.
