Our mission is to strengthen individuals and families affected by addiction, poverty and homelessness. Bridges to Change is committed to stop the revolving door of recidivism. We stress personal accountability while providing tools, support, and services neccessary to expand our clients' horizons, help them pursue their goals, and maintain self-sufficient lives in the community. We provide transitional housing, and peer mentors to achieve our mission.
Bridges to Change works mainly with men and women reciently released from prison, jail, treatment, or are homeless. We contract with Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties to provide Transitional Housing, and Peer Mentoring. Bridges has been a non profit since 2004, and have grown quickly. We currently house over 200 men and women, Have 14 paid mentors, and 17 paid house managers.
