Mission Statement

Reading Partners is a community program sponsored by the Wareham Free Library that provides free, confidential, and individiualized tutoring for adults and out-of-school youths age 16 and over. We provide help with:

-reading and writing

-English for speakers of other languages

-GED test preparation

Description

Volunteers participate in a 5-session training. After a volunteer is matched with a student, the pair meet at the library at least an hour each week at a time that is mutually convenient. During their sessions together, the tutor will try to help the student reach his or her specific goals.
