Habitat for Humanity/Metro Jackson is a Christian organization and welcomes volunteers from all faiths who are committed to Habitat's goal of eliminating poverty housing.

Description

Millard Fuller and his wife, Linda, had an idea for a housing ministry. It would eliminate poverty housing worldwide. It would up-lift families everywhere. The task is on-going, it is successful, but not complete. Former President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn brought world wide attention to the Organization and the ministry.
