The Mission of the Center for Contemporary Arts (CCA) is to create, maintain, and promote a vibrant regional gathering place for the exploration and presentation of diverse and challenging contemporary art forms and ideas through interdisciplinary programs: film, visual arts, performance, and educational outreach.
The Center for Contemporary Arts in Santa Fe (CCA) is a multidisciplinary, non-profit arts center and community gathering place. CCA encourages direct experience and healthy dialogue through visual arts, cinema, digital media and performance arts. The Munoz Waxman Gallery at CCA features cutting-edge contemporary art, including site-specific installations, audio/visual presentations, painting, sculpture and photography. The Living Room at the Gallery provides a casual space to meet, explore and exchange ideas. CCA's Cinematheque shows a wide range of films from independent filmmakers, directors and video artists. The Cinematheque is a vital participant and host of numerous film festivals, premier screenings and special events. CCA's Education Program provides learning experiences for students and community groups through guided tours, workshops, Internships and volunteer opportunities.
