The Roseville Area Senior Program Mission:

To promote and provide quality services, educational and social programming for persons over the age of 55 who seek to maintain an independent lifestyle and sustain quality lives.

Description

The Roseville Area Senior Program/North Suburban Senior Council will be the focal point in the service area - Roseville Area School District (Roseville, Little Canada, Maplewood, Moundsview, Lauderdale & Falcon Heights) - where persons over the age of 55 will come for volunteer opportunities, recreational and social activities, social networking, sharing of knowledge and experiences, live-long learning enrichment, intergenerational opportunities, access to information and assistance, advocacy on issues of public policy and access to necessary services that enable independent lifestyles.

*We care about people and the quality of service that we deliver each day.
*We advocate aging as a positive experience that enables people to reach their own potential.

*We believe people over the age of 55 seek quality and variety in programming to enrich their lives as well as services that maintain independent lifestyles.

*We embrace the full range of human diversity and seek to involve diverse populations in all aspects of the Senior Program.

*We enable intergenerational experiences in the School District and the community.

*We seek to provide a comfortable atmosphere where people can share their knowledge and experiences.

*We advocate community building and believe individuals over the age of 55 seek to be a part of a caring community.
