Mission Statement

The mission of Pet Rescue by Judy, Inc. is Rescuing, Rehabilitating, Resocializing, and the Rehoming of Companion Animals.

PRBJ, is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue of cats and dogs. Many of them come to us with medical needs. They are doctored to the best of our ability and resources. ALL animals are spayed or neutered and vaccinated before placed in a home. We are a NO-KILL shelter. Judy began her quest to rescue animals in 1986 and incorporated in 1995. PRBJ is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes and the following purposes are established:

1. To help educate and inform the public by maintaining a website and/or other online services, resources, forums, or operations to enable and enhance the learning and conduct of all aspects of health, care and welfare of dogs.

2. To minimize the needless euthanizing of abandoned pets, to increase public awareness with respect to the plight of homeless pets and to foster a culture of KINDNESS to animals.

3. Providing public and governmental education concerning spaying and neutering benefits and personal responsibility via educational materials including, but not limited to, publications, public service announcement, lectures, and educational demonstrations at public events.

4. Establishing relationships with local humane societies that euthanize animals in an effort to save abandoned pets from that fate by establishing and maintaining a network of individuals willing to provide temporary FOSTER CARE for abandoned companion animals until such times as a permanent home for them would be found.
