Mission Statement
The New Mexico IceHoles Charitable Foundation, Inc. is committed to developing collaborative arrangements with a variety of profit and non-profit entities in an effort to improve health literacy, physical fitness, reduce diabetes risks, reduce obesity, and improve cardiovascular health in underserved youth, adolescents and adults in central New Mexico.
Description
Founded in 1996 as an activist group for local charities in Albuquerque the New Mexico IceHoles Charitable Foundation has grown to a more substantial force in the Rio Grande region of New Mexico. The New Mexico IceHoles hockey club now counts nearly 30 members from across New Mexico and the US. All are dedicated to the mission of the Foundation as a source of community support and recognition of the needs of smaller charities directed toward public health concerns for the citizens of New Mexico.
The dedication of all members of the Foundation has resulted in more than $50,000 in donations to a wide variety of charities.
