Pony Up Rescue for Equines

Mission Statement

Pony Up Rescue for Equines was organized to serve two important purposes;

- Small scale hands-on rescue of horses in need that have competitive potential for hunt seat, dressage, eventing and related activites. We are not specifically focusing on any one breed, but rather horses of various breeds that are "diamonds in the rough." We seek to turn their lives around with proper nutrition, veterinary care, training and competition.

- Organization and management of a wide variety of fundraising events designed to benefit or partially benefit other worthy equine charites in the Pacific Northwest.

- We believe that it is not enough to rescue horses from starvation or slaughter. In order to ensure their safety in the future, we seek to give them the training they need to find excellent homes for the rest of their lives and reduce the odds that they will ever wind up in jeopardy again.
