Mission Statement

Safe Communities of Madison-Dane County is a non-profit coalition that brings together local public and private sector partners to save lives, prevent injuries and make our community safer.

Safe Communities promotes projects and programs with a demonstrated track record of saving lives. Our core areas of focus are our community's top causes of injury and injury-related death: Traffic Safety, Child Safety, Drug Poisoning Prevention, Falls Prevention, MedDrop, and Suicide Prevention.
