Mission Statement

PonyUp Rescue was organized to serve two important purposes:

Small Scale hands on rescue of horses in need that have competative potential for hunt seat, dressage, eventing and other related activities. We are not specifically focusing on any one breed, but rather horses of various breeds that are "diamonds in the rough". We seek to turn their lives around with proper nutrition, veterinary care, training and competition.

Organization and management of a wide variety of fundraising events to benefit or partially benefit other worthy equine charities in the Pacific Northwest.

Description

We believe it is not enough to rescue horses from starvation or slaugher. In order to ensure their safety in the future we seek to give them the training they need to find excellent homes for the rest of their lives, andreduce the odds that they will ever wind up in jeopardy again.
