The East Village Community Coalition works to preserve and promote one of New York City's most vibrant neighborhoods.

Description

Primary activities include: Working toward landmark status for historic buildings, proposing a new zoning policy that will preserve the neighborhood, supporting local businesses, and creating new transportation guidelines that will encourage cycling and walking while cutting back on car traffic.
