Life's Kitchen is an innovative, non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young adults by building self-sufficiency and enabling independent living through culinary arts and life skills training. .

Description

Our primary focus is to enable at-risk young adults to successfully transition into independent living, be highly employable and give back to our community. We do this with a dynamic staff of chef instructors, social workers, and volunteer business leaders who train and mentor the students in culinary arts and broad life skills curriculum

Helena and I have volunteered at Life's Kitchen for almost 4 years. It is an amazing program to help 16-20 year olds avoid falling through the cracks. They are taught life skills and also pickup a culinary background. Great and worthwhile!!!
