Mission Statement

Established in 1998, the Lynne Cohen Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research is a national organization created in memory of a woman who dedicated her life to the well-being of others.

Our mission is to continue Lynne Cohen's spirit of giving by supporting and enablling highly-focused, collaborative research and preventive care to improve survival rates for the women and families at increased risk for ovarian cancer and for women fighting the disease.

Description

The Lynne Cohen Foundation is a national nonprofit organization uniquely positioned to fight ovarian cancer. A network of preventive care clinics, a Consortium of physicans and scientists from prestigious cancer center around the country, a national registry of high-risk patients from diverse communities comprise the core of our direct efforts.

Through individual donations, grants, and fundraising events we have raised more than $6 million dollars to support research and preventive care since 1998.
