Description
PKU and Allied Disorders of WI (PADOW) is a young organization, begun by a group of college students, recent graduates, and medical professionals. We host several events each year, focusing on bringing Wisconsin's metabolic community together.
PADOW hosts a winter conference to showcase advancements in metabolic research and to reach out to individuals and families, bringing them together in an environment where they can share stories and learn from each other. Of course there are lots of fun activities for kids and adults alike! Recently PADOW began hosting a charity walk to coincide with the spring/summer family picnic to help raise funds and awareness to support research and other activities of the organization. PADOW also hosts cooking classes, and demos through the year.
