Mission Statement

The Christensen Center promotes responsible and appropriate use of plants, animals, and water through education and demonstration and provides a school and community resource for learners of all ages, knowledge levels, and abilities.

The Science Center provides students in the School District and the community the opportunity to interact with animals and to discover sustainable, organic gardening practices. Our unique site allows students the opportunity to see first hand how food is grown and to harvest and taste food straight from the garden.

We also host a few community garden plots allowing us to share organic gardening practices and appropriate water usage.
