Our program services girls from all over the greater Rochester area who are unable to attend their own high school proms due to family crisis and financial problems. Qualified girls must be actively attending school and furnish a personal reference. Once accepted they are invited to attend our annual Prom Fair. At this event they are treated to a day of one on one personal attention by our volunteer personal shoppers, seamstresses, stylists and makeup artists. Successful women from all aspects of our community are on hand to share their life experiences and motivate the girls to strive for success in their own lives. Our goal is to help each girl find her own special look by selecting an outfit from our collection of hundreds of donated gently worn and new prom gowns. We encourage each girl to put her best foot forward and to shine, no matter what her shape and size. Allthough for the girls it is all about the dress, to us it is all about self esteem.
