Mission Statement
The Mission of Spencer Crest Nature Center is to enhance awareness of nature by providing leadership in educational opportunities, facilities, programming, and environmental stewardship at the Center, on the grounds, and in the community.
Description
The Nature Center boasts 250 acres of forested habitat, more than 7 miles of color-coded trails, two ponds, two streams, and a museum of natural systems, as well as a variety of wildlife that roan the property.
Spencer Crest offers a "Self-Guided Tour of Trees", our "Marty Frazen Memorial Fibonacci Walk", community educational programs, tailor-made environmental education programs, as well as a variety of outdoors activities for every season.
Our building is fully handicapped accessible and we are in the process of expanding our current handicapped friendly trail.
We have 400 square feet of rental space for weddings, receptions, professional meetings, family birthday parties and more...rain or shine for an indoor/outdoor exceptional experience!
