Mission Statement

Planet Aid is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people in developing countries and protecting the environment. Our activities include AIDS / HIV prevention, teacher training, health programs and relief aid in Africa, Asia and Central America. We achieve these goals by collecting and reselling used clothing as a means to raise funds for development projects overseas.

Description

Planet Aid raises funds for development projects by collecting and reselling used clothes. This is predominantly done by placing collection bins throughout a neighborhood providing the community with a convenient way to recycle their used clothing. We are also trying new collection methods to further our development efforts and to reduce the amount of textile waste that reaches our landfills.
