Arizona Association for Environmental Education (AAEE) strives to enhance the quality, scope, and effectiveness of environmental education in Arizona, working with diverse audiences to promote professional development, networking, and collaborative relationships.

Description

AAEE facilitates professional development through workshops, meetings, and interactions with a diverse group of professionals, and it connects its members to regional and national environmental education advancement opportunities.

Research shows that meaningful learning occurs through informal contexts- within a family/ group exploring a museum, going camping, or building something together. AAEE provides parents with contact information for natural history museums, informal education programs for children and families, and opportunities to learn more about the environment in Arizona.
