Description
KUNI is a 100,000 watt, non-commercial, member-supported National Public Radio affiliate broadcasting from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. KUNI is also a member of the statewide Iowa Public Radio network. Our program schedule consists of NPR news and information including news magazines like "Morning Edition" and "All Things Considered," plus public radio favorites like "Fresh Air," "This American Life," "A Prairie Home Companion," "Car Talk," "Whad'ya Know?" and much more. KUNI also boasts an eclectic Triple-A music format heard each weeknight and on weekends, including live on-air performances from our very own Studio One.
Our sister statio, KHKE, is a 24 hour classical arts and culture station heard in the Waterloo, Cedar Falls, and Mason City areas.
