Mission Statement

The Branch Family Institute's mission is to strengthen families and communities by providing quality, culturally-relevant services to underserved populations.

Description

The Branch Family Institute is a non-profit organization that provides individual, family, group counseling and Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange (SV/SE) services through our "After the Storm" program to residents in the Chicago land area.

Our SV/SE Program services low-income Chicago residents and surrounding communities. The mission ofthe SV/SE program is to provide a safe, comfortable, non-threatening and conflict-free environment for children to visit with their non-custodial parent. This program addresses the needs of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, stalking, substance abuse, custody battles, and mental illness.

BFI has recently developed a new volunteer initiative to show support to the communities we serve by bringing a much needed awareness to supervised visitation and safe exchange services. BFI is "BRANCHING OUT" into a new direction to show the community that we are dedicated to strengthening the lives of children and families.
