Promote creativity and creative problem solving skills to the youth of Montana through the encouragement and development of cooperation, self-respect, and the appreciation and understanding of others.
The Destination ImagiNation Program is unique in its requirements of teamwork and no outside assistance. Teams of 5-7 students must solve one of five open-ended challenges from idea to completion without any assistance from non-team members. Montana Destination ImagiNation recognizes that these students need a way to demonstrate and be recognized for their outstanding creativity. In a workshop and tournament settins, Montana Destination ImagiNation provides them the avenue for presenting their solutions and receiving recognition and feedback. These workshops and tournaments are the culmination of 3 to 5 months of work for the students.
