WHAT IS BAM HOUSE?
BAM House is a Christian faith based nonprofit organization that provides structured transitional housing and supportive services.
We are licensed through the Illinois Dept. of Human services. The emphasis of the Bam house program is the spiritual and behavioral development of our residents.
Through our cooperative efforts we provide extended residential care recovery home services and counseling to help people in the process of making positive changes in their lives by directly addressing the core causes of their problems, and the crisis they face. Those who choose to benefit from our services have made a decision to overcome the obvious symptoms of their deeper underlying pain. This process begins by developing the willingness to accept tough love as a part of our researched evidence based approach which addresses negative behaviors and identifies the feelings that cause behaviors that lead to isolation and despair.

We believe that our residents have positive gifts and talents to offer to society and it is the vision of BAM House to help them onto the path of finding purpose for their lives and to become more productive members of society.
By providing a therapeutic environment of recovery, supportive services and Christian love our residents can begin to examine character defects that continue to plague them and ultimately lead to a self-destructive lifestyle.
Our goal is to help residents to take a fearless and honest look at themselves so they can begin to take the needed steps to live a productive life. House meetings are designed for residents to receive personal growth, life and social skills through positive peer interaction, problem solving, and group responsibilities.
