Evergreen Players, Inc. (EP) is a highly successful 501(c)(3) non-profit award-winning community theater organization which was incorporated in 1964.
Through its highly dedicated Board of Directors, part-time contracted staff, skilled actors, directors, artists and volunteers of all ages and walks of life, EP each year programs and produces a year-long season of cutting edge and traditional live theater and musicals.
EP also holds youth theater classes throughout the school year and a two-week summer drama day camp where youth help create and perform in original plays and improvisational theater and obtain teamwork skills that will last a lifetime.
As the only full production theater company in Evergreen, EP is a cultural gem that draws area residents and visitors, mountain weekenders and theater lovers from across the metropolitan Denver and foothills area.
Most years since 1998, EP has entered community theater festivals. In March 2011, EP's production of Parallel Lives at the American Association of Community Theatre Regional Theater Festival in Fort Collins, CO took six awards. Most recently, EP’s The Laramie Project was listed as one of the three outstanding and unforgettable drama productions in Bill Wheeler’s Best of 2012.
