Mission Statement

The mission of the AAAD is to plan for the provision of the Older American Act and state funded services to provide services to the elderly and other adults with disabilities by bringing together as many resources as possible in an effort to keep these individuals active, healthy and independent for as long as possible.

Description

The Northwest TN Area Agency on Aging and disability has several programs that offer assistance to the elderly and disabled in our communities. We contract with several in-home care agencies in these communities to provide homemaker, personal care, and respite services along with home delivered meals. We also provide resources that help our citizens with dental and vision care, home modifications, assistance with utility bills just to name a few.
