Mission Statement

Our mission is to serve the community by providing animals in need and their caretakers with information, advice, contacts, and rescue/rehab services as needed. Our focus is on equines and we serve all from mini to draft. We take in or foster starved, neglected, and/or abused horses and ponies; address their issues and needs, and where appropriate, give them life skills to help them attain and maintain a forever home. Additionally, we will strive to provide educational materials/forums to provide the community at large with information on keeping an equine and dealing with equine issues.

Description

Ours is a small organization of 4 board members and several regular volunteers and assorted tag-a-longs. We have a primary facility where we do most of our work - most of the horses/ponies are kept at pasture and brought in to be handled/worked. They are also taken to nearby trails for trail/packing exposure when ready. Ours is a holistic, chemical free approach, featuring managed grazing in several herds. We are going to target having spring and fall fund drives - but we are still fairly new in our formation and have lots to do. With a never exhausted supply of clients ---
