Mission Statement
At the Land's Council, we preserve and revitalize Inland Northwest forests, water, and wildlife through advocacy, education, effective action, and community engagement. We collaborate with a broad range of interested parties to seek smart and mutually respectful solutions to environment and health issues. We believe that we're all enriched by the beauty of nature. As a group we're energized by the recreational opportunities it affords. At the Land's Council we're inspired to preserve its legacy for future generations.
Description
Volunteers are the backbone of all grassroots activism. When you volunteer, you play a vital role in making lasting change and improving conditions for the future. And, whether you want to meet new people or learn more about environmental concerns facing your area, volunteering with The Lands Council is a great place to begin. Getting involved can also be a great way to build career skills, gain experience, and invest in a worthy cause. No matter what your skill level, we can use your help. Our volunteer opportunities include work with conservation-related events, as well as community outreach and office assistance, including bulk mailing preparation, tabling and outreach, special events, and more.
