Mission Statement

El Museo Latino is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the collectioon, preservation, research, exhibition and interpretation of art, artifacts, and archival material of the Latino people from the Americas, for the purpose of public appreciation of human history, as it is expressed through art, history and social sciences and technology.

Description

El Museo Latino presents 7-10 special temporary exhibitions each year. In conjunction with the exhibitions, the museum offers special lectures, gallery talks, art classes, dance and music classes, as well as performances and concerts. Outdoor concerts are held in the courtyard during the summer months. After school and summer programs are offered in the visual and performing arts.
