Mission Statement

The Green Coast Foundation is a nonprofit research and education organization dedicated to accelerating the market for clean, renewable energy ("Green Energy") in California. California's shift towards Green Energy will help to clean the air, improve public health, reduce global warming, lessen our dependence on foreign oil and create high quality jobs. When all Californians can purchase clean, renewable electricity and alternative fuels at affordable prices, then we will have achieved our mission.

Description

The Green Coast Foundation achieves its goals through:

Superior Market Research : We use leading-edge quantitative market assessment tools to perform the most comprehensive market research about Californians' opinions on Green Energy, the Environment, and Public Health. We help policymakers, corporations, and stakeholders to better understand what Californians want with regard to alternative enrgy solutions.

Educating Californians : We provide free access to some of the web's best energy-related news, analysis and tools. We educate all stakeholders (public sector, private sector, nonprofit interest groups, and the general public) about Californians' opinions, so that they can develop effective public policies that foster statewide use of Green Energy solutions.
