Bull Run Mountains Conservancy, Inc., (BRMC) is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization founded in 1995 to protect the Bull Run Mountains through education, research, and stewardship.
BRMC provides 10 miles of hiking trails; education programs for teachers, students K-high school, and residents; professional-caliber research of lasting importance; and internships and research opportunities for high school, college, and graduate students. Our programs teach the ecological, historical, and cultural value of the Bull Run Mountains and other natural communities.
Our Youth Outdoors program including nature camps, birthday adventures, school programs, internships, scout programs, and Halloween Safari continues to be a cornerstone of our mission. The program shows kids that the outdoors is fun and exiting, and teaches them that we all have a responsibility to protect and enhance our public lands and nature preserves.
