Mission Statement

The Victim Crisis Response Team is dedicated group of trained volunteers who assist local law enforcement agencies in responding to the immediate needs of victims of crime and those in crisis. It is our goal that victims are treated with dignity, respect, fairness, compassion, courtesy and sensitivity.

Description

VCRs respond on scene or other location specified by law enforcement to provide assistance, resources, emotional support and referrals to victims of crime or those in crisis. VCRs will also conduct direct services via the telephone as well as provide assistance and advocacy at the local Child Advocacy Center.
