Mission Statement
The "Vinaka Fiji" aid program run by the Yasawa trust Foundation is working towards improving the provision of basic needs and amenities, often taken for granted in modern society, yet fregquently missing from village life in the Yasawa group of Islands.
It does thos both through direct aid and by acting as facilitator, bringing those who can help, companies, Government, aid agencies and individuals, together with those in need.
We focus on WATER, EDUCATION, HEALTH & POWER
The manpower to do the installation and teaching is delivered by volunteers from countries all over the world through our Vinaka Fiji Volunteer programs. The fundraising and donations goes to the provisio of matrials essential to the work - water tanks, piping, teaching aids and books. We are currently focusing on 7 different villages, primary and secondary school within the region.
