Project SUCCESS motivates and inspires young people to dream about the future, helps them take steps to get there and gives them the tools they need to achieve their goals.
Project SUCCESS is a youth-development organization that works with students continuously over 7 years from 6-12 grades to help them develop life skills and inspire them to act on their dreams. Our activities are designed to help students build the agency, competencies and integrated identity national research says is critical for academic, career and life success. We achieve our goals through:
Monthly In-class Goal-Setting Workshops offered to each student led by highly trained, Project SUCCESS-facilitators during each school year.
Theater Experiences used as tools to inspire and challenge students, demonstrate they are members of the larger community, and act as a springboard for discussion in the classroom and at home.
Experiential Learning Opportunities designed to offer students more opportunities to apply what they have learned in the classroom, build knowledge, skills, sustain and grow supportive developmental relationships with caring adults and peers, take part in new experiences that will broaden their world-views, and inform their dreams and goals for the future. Examples include: middle school musicals, state/national college tours, BWCA trips, and one-on-one post-secondary planning support.
