Mission Statement
To seek the end of abuse & violence against women, children, and families. We work to further a community culture that provides safety & support to those affected by domestic violence & to advocate for social change through activism, education, and leadership in our community.
Description
The SSWRC offers a wide variety of free & confidential services ranging anywhere from counseling & advocacy to emergency safe housing. We currently have advocates located in courthouses & police stations throughout Plymouth County to assist individuals in domestic violence situations on a regular basis.
In addition to DV services, the SSWRC also offers homicide bereavement & services for individuals & families affected by impaired driving throughout Bristol & Plymouth Counties - Services include, but are not limited to, counseling & advocacy.
The SSWRC is committed to advocating for programs that promote the safety & wellbeing of those within our communities.
