4-H is an organization with a rich history of youth development in Idaho for over 100 years. The focus of 4-H is hands-on experiential learning, using research based curriculum.

Youth learn life skills (such as responsibility, public speaking, and leadership) while participating in a choice of over 100 projects, in eight subject areas; Science and Technology, Citizenship and Civic Education, Communications and Expressive Arts, Environmental Education and Earth Sciences Family and Consumer Sciences/Healthy Living, Plants and Animals, Personal Development and Leadership.
