Bryant Elementary School

Mission Statement

Bryant Elementary is located in the Ravenna/Bryant neighborhood of NE Seattle. It has served the community since 1918 and is "the heart of the neighborhood."School leadership is focused on ensuring strong, collaborative teaching teams and differentiation of instruction to meet the needs of all learners. Bryant is well-known for its strong programs in the arts and sciences.

Our vision/portrait of a Bryant Fifth Grader:

Is at standard or beyond in basic academic areas; is aware of currrent events and acts as a community steward; has integrated technology skills and knows how to access information;is aware of personal strenths and strives to be a life-long learner; is able to access higher order thinking skills and integrate creative and analytical processes; has strong social skills and is accepting adn aware of other's talents and differences; has life-long health skills related to physical well-being and sportsmanship; has an appreciation of the fine arts including drama, music, and the visual arts.
