Mission Statement

Bryant Elementary is located in the Ravenna/Bryant neighborhood of NE Seattle. It has served the community since 1918 and is "the heart of the neighborhood."School leadership is focused on ensuring strong, collaborative teaching teams and differentiation of instruction to meet the needs of all learners. Bryant is well-known for its strong programs in the arts and sciences.

Description

Community volunteers assist students at the direction of classroom teachers, in grades K-5 with reading, writing and math. Various opportunities are available, between 9:10 a.m.- 1 p.m., Monday- Friday. Oct. 1, 2006-June 15, 2007.

Our after school Homework and Skill Center focuses on at risk students, grades 3-5, who are referred by their teachers. Tutors work 1-1 with students to help them complete their homework assignments and provide trageted support to students in specific skill areas. Runs Oct. 23, 2006-May 30, 2007.

Our Math Championships Tutor/leaders explore middle school math topics at an accelerated pace with small groups of 5th graders. Runs Oct. 30, 2006-March 2007.
