Mission Statement

Innovate Our World is a STEAM (STEM to the Arts) nonprofit in Maryland, USA. We inspire students by having them exposed to exciting real-world challenges and help educators integrate content areas to foster critical thinking, creativity, problem solving, and innovation.

Description

We are building framework, tools, resources, training, and support for STEAM education (mostly secondary level) through our STEAM Integration Model (SIM) project. SIM will be the focus of our June 21, 2014 STEAM Conferfence at CCBC, Catonsville, MD. Our Arts, Design, and Aerospace challenges engage student teams in real-world activities, often wiorking with industry leaders. For example, the Moon Mission Challenge will have students interacting with commerical space industry teams competing to send robotic rovers to the Moon.
