Mission Statement

The Prescott Art Docents is a nonprofit affiliate of the Phoenix Art Museum Docents. Formed in 1971, the purpose of this volunteer educational organization is to serve the community by providing art education to the schools and to adult organizations through carefully researched programs designed to further public understanding and appreciation of the visual arts. No person or group of persons is excluded from membership on the basis of age, race, ethnicity, religion or gender.

Description

No art or art history experience necessary! We will provide all the training you need. Our extensive training program and easy to follow curriculum provides you with a quality education so that you can take art programs into the elementary schools. This program has become an invaluable resource to our local schools by providing education and enrichment in the arts that would otherwise be unavailable.
