Mission Statement
Carousel Ranch is dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults with special needs. Through both our equestrian therapy and vocational training programs, we strive to create an atmosphere where every student can and will succeed...a place where therapy is disguised as fun.
Description
The therapy we provide combines vaulting (gymnastics on a moving horse), and therapeutic riding - both English and Western, resulting in a goal orientated program for special needs children. In addition we offer vocational training to young adults with special needs through our Ready to Work program.

Great opportunity! I really had a great time. I hope to volunteer more regularly.

I started as a volunteer eight years ago. It didn't take me long to ask for a job. Since then I have worked as the volunteer coordinator and as an instructor. I have first hand knowledge of the benefits that volunteers bring to carousel ranch.
Many of our volunteers have been with us for years and so they become part of the Carousel Ranch family. Being a regular gives the volunteer a chance to get to know our students and feel like a big part of reaching our goals for each student. Volunteers will laugh along with our students and leave with a feeling of accomplishment.
