Erath County Senior Citizens, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides services including Home-Delivered Meals, Transportation, and Preventive Health items to elderly residents ofErathCountywho are in need of assistance. ECSC receives funding from the North Central Texas Council of Governments/Area Agency on Aging, Texas Department of Human Services, and Texas Department of Agriculture as well as local organizations including theErath County United WayandErathCounty.

On a daily basis the staff of ECSC oversees the delivery of one hot meal, five days a week to approximately 200 homebound clients. These meals are served at lunchtime and delivered by volunteers. ECSC also provides Ensure nutritional supplement to an average of 28 clients per month. Beginning October 1, 2002, ECSC began contracting with The Transit System to provide in-county transportation services to eligible elderly clients. This service is used to increase the availability of transportation to elderly residents ofErathCounty. On November 1, 2012, ECSC partnered with theStephenvilleSeniorCenterto provide Congregate Meals two days a week.
