Mission Statement
Our goal at From God to You Ministry is to nourish the body and soul of hurting individuals. Our ministry is comprised of the following three components: 1. declare the message of the Gospel, 2. supply and distribute food, 3. community-wide fellowship.
Formally organized in 2008, From God to You Ministries, Inc. began with a primary goal of meeting the essential needs for the homeless in Greenville, South Carolina. Initially distributing only breakfast and snacks, our ministry has now expanded to provide healthy varieties of food for all people in need in Upstate South Carolina. Due to our state of the art warehouse and distribution center, we are now able to reach a higher quantity of people. Our passion is to provide hope and encouragement by helping ease the burden for those who are unable to meet their daily nourishment needs. In a phrase, we believe everyone deserves at least one good meal a day.
We are willing to help all in need regardless of race, gender, age, and religion. Our goal is to provide a better quality of life for individuals in need, including single working parents struggling to provide for their families; senior citizens living on fixed incomes, and those who have made poor choices in live that have led to addiction and/or homelessness.
Description
From God to You Ministries is currently distributing through over 20 different denominational and nondenominational churches and other Christian organizations in Greenville, Anderson, and Spartanburg counties. These distribution sites are strategically placed allowing us to reach and assist as many people as possible. In addition, we serve as an emergency food pantry site where individuals can gain access to food. When available, we also provide other basic needs to include clothing, toiletries, medical equipment, and household goods.
