Mission Statement

Blue Water Green Earth activates the power of music/arts for the benefit of the community by raising awareness/funds for vital civic and environmental concerns.

Description

This Blue Water Green Earth has seen many successes. A couple are listed below:

  • Following the devestating Laguna Beach Flood in 2011 Blue Water Green Earth (BWGE) answered the mayor's plea for help before the arrival of FEMA funds by producing the "Here Comes The Sun" Flood Relief Concert, raising over $20,000 in less than a three week period for the hardest hit victims.
  • Last April BWGE produced a seaside Earth Day concert then offered half-off admission for residents willing to lend a hand in the BWGE produced beach cleanup earlier in the day.

    As a result, the event was a huge success, cleaning the entire entire city of Laguna Beach in just 30 minutes...That's all city streets, beaches and kelpbeds.

* We would love your support for our next big event The Blue Water Music festival taking place on the Sawdust Art Festival grounds March 29th - 30th 2014.

This event we will act as a "super-fundraiser," once again demostrating the power of music to raise funds important causes. In this case a full half of all general admission ticket revenue will go directly to the nonprofit or afterschool program selling the ticket. This event will also showcase the musical aspect of Laguna's world renowed arts scene and feature nationa and even internatuional acts.
